Our Independence Unit was set-up to allow service users the opportunity of gaining real-life experience of the various tasks required when living independently.

This service is popular with those who have aspirations of moving towards more autonomous domestic living.

We’ve designed the service so that each of the activities, provides users with scenarios that need a deeper consideration. For example, preparation for a particular meal requires that all the required ingredients are available and if not, how to obtain them.
